Therapy is a healing journey that should begin with a safe, comfortable, and caring therapeutic relationship.  I strive to create such an environment for my clients, where a person can begin to explore their present and past hurt as we collaboratively begin walking into the healing of the future.   I encourage my clients to determine the direction of hope for their lives as I walk with them towards healing.    I believe that my clients should guide their healing in order to develop a deeper understanding of who they are.  My role in this process is to help facilitate this journey as my clients move towards hope, healing, and a deeper understanding of who they are.

I strive to stay current on the latest research and evidence-based practices.  I welcome couples, individuals of all ages, and families to my practice.  I work from an integrative perspective combining elements of cognitive behavior therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, emotion focused therapy, mindfulness, internal family systems, as well as attachment therapy.
